Mother.{Love}.Daughter

This was my first ever portrait session! I began photography many years ago, using my dads' Olympus 35mm film camera, mostly just on family vacation. I bought my first "real" camera 4 years ago, and have loved taking landscape photographs ever since!!!!! Since moving down to the #obx however, my photography has taken a turn.

People noticed my landscapes photographs, which in turn began inquires and requests for portrait photographs. I had ZERO experience as a portrait photographer but I could not say no to an opportunity to explore a new area of photography. I LOVE all things photograph! Therefore, when I was asked by a coworker to photograph her daughter and herself, I could not say no.

Amanda and her daughter were absolutely the perfect pair for my first portrait session. Very easy going and superbly cooperative resulted in amazing photos.
